Life isn't just Black and White

        The Boulevard of

          Broken Dreams

Sometimes it takes 50 Shades of Khaki

1400hrs 25th of May 1940.

Telegram from Anthony Eden, Secretary of State for War:

"The eyes of the Empire are upon the defence of Calais, and H.M. Government are confident you and your gallant regiments will perform an exploit worthy of the British name."

When Major Robert L Parker, Welsh Guards, was questioned about inadvertently starting the Second World War and then accidentally saving Hitler's life his response was "anyone can make a mistake".

In the Spring of 1940 Rob Parker will have to live with the consequences of his mistakes when he's thrown into the front line to await the onslaught of Nazi-Germany's iron fist. His one thought: "How the hell do I get out of here?"

"Robert L. Parker is a great creation. Funny, irreverent, a wonderful character who plays with the reader’s emotions and expectations in a way that escalates the story into something truly gripping."

Harper-Collins

"Back in Blighty, Major Rob Parker, the charming rogue who triggered WWII breezes through his wartime adventure armed primarily with a sense of self-preservation and an acerbic wit. His is a historically accurate, uncensored and evocative account of the events of WWII that's amusing, informative, occasionally appalling and often nerve wracking. Apocalypse Then Part Two is perhaps even better than Part One."
